Very comfortable stay

My room was beautiful, roomy and comfortable. It was convenient to have a warm breakfast every day and a cheerful lady working on it. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

Disappointing for a brand name hotel

I stayed here last night while visiting family in the area. I needed a room with air conditioning due to health reasons and booked here in a pinch. My rate was $195.00 and I feel like I got hosed for what I got. Building: The location itself is good, parking lot in the back is not well lit and I did not feel safe as a solo female traveler. Lobby was ok, I could see visible wear on furnishings and the bench I sat at for breakfast was visibly stained and felt gross. Room: at first look it was clean, the air conditioning was functional and the room was cool. The bed was fine, sheets were very soft, and I slept fairly well considering I don't sleep well in hotels. Bathroom: noticeable wear on the furnishings, mirror looked like the mirror surface was peeling, shower was comically small, and there was haphazard repairs on the shower wall. This morning I noticed something on the wall that looked like dried nose juice from a juicy sneeze and that really grossed me out. After seeing that I was like ok I'm outta here. Staff: front desk yesterday afternoon was incredibly friendly, and the breakfast attendant was also quite personable. Guy at the front desk at check out seemed annoyed that I bothered him to check out and was a bit curt. Bottom line: I won't stay here again. If I need to stay in the area again I am going to find somewhere else.
