An older resort but fabulously updated. The newly renovated rooms were lovely. Very modern lights, bathrooms and stainless steel appliances. What the heck is a WIFI enabled stove? Room smelled like a new home! Pillow top beds were excellent. Kitchen was stocked with lots of dishes, pots & pans, etc. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would have loved to try the pickleball courts and beach but ya, it is almost December. Pub was just across the street. Definitely would stay again and recommend to family & friends.

This was our second stay at Sandy Beach. The renovations of the suites are very nice. Being right on the beach is wonderful. Ceiling fans in each room are nice. The upper suites share a balcony with no dividers which doesn’t make for any privacy. Pros: access to lounge chairs, kayaks, paddle boards Con: they do not offer a full size coffee maker, no roasting pan or cookie sheet that can be used in the oven, the shampoo/bodywash bottles are too small and the shower head doesn’t work properly or doesn’t have enough water pressure.

Great beach, very nice yard/property with lots of games and things to do. Very clean. The only thing wrong was the bed was very hard.

Room was crowded, had to move table to access bed, not a big deal but required. AC was so noisy,made it difficult to sleep. Nice kitchen and spacious washroom, ground facilities were very pleasing and nice access to beach. Spiders webs in washroom, been there for some time, could use a good cleaning

Room was clean and had all the amenities. Had a portable a/c unit that was noisy. Queen mattress was ok, but have sleep in better. Location is great, right on the lake.
