I had a very hard time dealing with hotels.com. I wanted to book hotel room two days before my trip from hotels.com. I received the 30% off coupon in email which I was not able to apply on my booking. Before I book the hotel, I called hotels.com and explain the situation. The only solution they advised me was to wait for 48 hours for the coupon to work. I could not wait for 48 hours as my trip was in 48 hours and I booked the hotel without using coupon. I requested hotel.com to at least provide me the credit and waiting for their response.
