They charged me for 4+2 guests in one unit, and I paid for 2 extra guests, but there was just 2 queen sized beds in one room , so 2 of us slept in our car .

This is a very old run down motel that is trying to make a go of it. The young lady at the front desk was lovely and extremely helpful and the room was clean.

The motel room is in good size and pretty clean. It’s a carpet free room and quiet. The lady at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The only thing not convenient is there was NO wifi. It’s not the hotel issue but the whole area has no signal. Unfortunately my virgin mobile cellphone carrier also has NO coverage in this area. The good thing is the signal was good up north 5 minutes drive to the Wiarton down town area.

Book somewhere else

Stayed here for 1 night on October 12th. It was terrible. The room was very dirty. The room was in desperate need of a painting, the drawers were full of hairs, the mat on the floor was disgusting, the chairs were disgusting. The ceiling fan had dust literally a centimeter thick.The bathroom was ok. The exterior door was a hallow interior closet type door with an interior lock. If I would have been with my kids we would not have stayed.

The owners are wonderful and very accommodating. We travelled with our 2 and 5 year old children and got in after 1 AM. They welcomed us even that late and put the heater on for us because we requested due to our daughter being so young. They were kind, the rooms were clean and everything stayed was available. Thank you for your hospitality!

Close to hiking trails and Wiarton. Restaurant on site was good and convenient for the guest. Free parking in front of room. Room was generally clean but bathroom was outdated, beds were uncomfortable, pillows old and flat and the windows had no black out curtain to block out porchlight which stayed on all night
