Good value within city centre

A nice hotel, about 25 min walk (or bus ride) from the city centre. Rooms were comfortable, the double bed was quite small but fine for one person. Breakfast was good value with a range of hot and cold options. Parking was available (for an extra fee) but it was a good base for a weekend away.

Fantastic stay at the Linton Lodge Hotel

We had a fantastic stay in Oxford due mainly to the great hospitality we received at the Linton Lodge Hotel. The staff were amazing especially Josh on the front desk, our room was very spacious and spotlessly clean and the food was excellent. We would definitely stay again and can recommend it to anyone.

Very good property even though a merge of 3 residential houses. Very peaceful, easy and cheap parking walking distance to university-land and shops. Breakfast excellent choice. Some maintenance points let it down. Lift unreliable, shower bar lose and basin plug missing. Shame as we had a really lovely stay.

Overall our stay was ok. Pros: the silence at nighttime which allowed a good night sleep, the breakfast was good and transport links to the city center are also good. you can also walk to in 15 to 20 minutes. Cons: our room was on the ground floor but there were still 5 steps to get to our room. Our 4 month old was in her pram so I asked the recepcionist if there was a lift or another way to access the room. She replied to just go straight, which led me to the stairs. It was really hard to carry the pram up and down those stairs. Would have been better to have had a different room with better access. Another not so good point was, the day we arrived it was late and we asked if the restaurant was open and the wait for food was 50min to an hour which wasn't great. We ended up getting a pizza delivered via Uber eats and ate it in the room. Wasn't very comfortable but was the only option at 9pm with a baby. Other than that, the stay overall was value for money.

Stayed for one night whilst I was in Oxford, great accomodation! Service when checking in was great. Even though it's 20 minutes from the city centre, a bus route is nearby or many Voi scooters are nearby to use

Clean, Basic Affordable Lodging in the Oxford Area

Pleasant hotel in a quiet area with helpful staff. It's a very straightforward experience with not many amenities -- no hotel transportation, laundry service, refrigerators or microwave, for example. However, the staff were helpful with what the hotel did offer, and the breakfast was lovely. It's a quiet town that closes early, but they do have room service and a restaurant/lounge that offers some late night menu items. The cleaning staff was thorough and worked around my schedule, as I spent a lot of time in the room. The facilities do need updating -- a few lights flickered, the carpet was wavy in some places. However, given the price was more affordable than most other lodging in the Oxford area, I was comfortable and content.

Easy 20-30 mins walk into Oxford city. Parking fees covers from 3pm to 11am the next morning. Staff who helped us to check in was kind of rude. He was speaking too fast and when we asked for clarifications, his tone changed, as though we couldn’t understand English. We are from a first world English speaking country, just not UK.
