The hotel and the rooms are really excellent. Only the small size is a challenge for two people with 3 suitcases. The hotel is very central within the city and it you need to take a bus for whatever reason, the bus station is close too.

Clean room but I did expect it to to be a low 5* hotel but it felt more like a 3* motel. the room at the end was a room without a room, i guess as the room also only had one bed for single occupancy it somehow made sense but it felt then not good value for money overall

One night break

Stayed one night for a short break, it was very comfortable and so clean. The staff were very helpful at storing luggage for us and very friendly and polite. Very central for everything in Oxford but room was still nice and quiet. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The hotel made an unauthorised debit to my account for £100. When I queried this they told me it was a deposit to cover possible damage to the room during my stay. Hotels cannot make unauthorised debits like this. The staff were not helpful and it took several attempts before I managed to retrieve this deposit.

Nice couple's stay in central Oxford

Lovely hotel right in the middle of Oxford. Not 5 star by any means but the price is correct for the experience at this hotel. It was a bit noisy outside on the street at night but we just put white noise on and slept through it. There was a lovely rainfall shower, nice toiletries and a comfortable bed with lots of pillows.

Pleasant stay at George street hotel

I needed a place in the city centre of Oxford near st Cathrine's college. The hotel served the purpose. Staff were friendly, check in was smooth and room very clean and welcoming. Many restaurants nearby so food was not a challenge. I would stay here again.

Clean and well located

Nice hotel very conveniently located. Clean and ideal for our needs. Just a bit soulless as there was no focal.point. no bar or breakfast room.
