Lovely hotel and room. No lifts for level one and no help from staff to carry suitcases. Not a lot of bench space in bathroom to put bathroom items. Bed was nice and comfortable. It is far from Oxford city, handy if you have a car, but not great if needing a taxi. Nice and quiet

The sensor light in the room which comes on when you go in the hall towards the toilet is daft as it wakes up the other person in the room . Not required as night light in bathroom .

The hotel is a bit far front the university, but there is a bus stop just outside the hotel so that is real it an issue, the hotel is lovely, the rooms are cozy, clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and efficient, the shower, Wifi and everything else was also good so if we ever go back to beautiful Oxford, we would definitely stay at the Vocco again.

Absolutely superb in every way; about 4th time we have stayed in 6-7 years, though several upgrades/refurbished areas apparent this visit. Lovely in every way and service excellent. The breakfast display and variety is even better, and the room/bed SO comfortable. The ONLY disappointment is now having to pay £10/night to park on site, especially when occupancy was not full and IHG Holiday Inn at Peartree roundabout charge £6 which location is more understandable to deter city visitors from leaving cars there to catch a bus into the centre (which Voco Thames overnight guests may choose to do but not casual 'scroungers' I would have hoped)
