wedding night

reserved this hotel because the brand and also because I was going to a wedding and the party was held at this hotel. I reserved 2 VIP rooms and only got one. Tried to solve this situation with several people before gave up and decided not to be irritated in a short stay. Also went back to the front desk a few times due to problems with the keys also used to mark the desired floor in the elevator. most of the time there was only one person in the desktop. facilities are ok but staff needs better trainning.

nice hotel, the extras a little pricey,

Pros: rooms very comfortable,clean ,good veiw,rooms had coffee and a bottle of water every day,some shower stuff shampoo conditioner,lots of fuffy clean tow
Cons: we should learn more spanish,they consider it polite if spoken to in spanish,but staff really needs to learn more english, a few lower priced meals
Location: the canal is pretty far away,also other hotel and old town or the peir is pretty far,not much in walking distance
hotel nice, a little formal for me,breakfeast and other meals on pricey side,not much u can walk to everything a cab is needed,people freindly and helpfull,we should learn more spanish and they should learn more english, but this hotel does have great creature comforts and is very clean,veiw of ocean great but was hoping to be able to see canal

Remarkably lax standards for a Sheraton.

Pros: Nice view.
Cons: It'd be better if they just delivered what's promised. We didn't get what we booked. We were simply skipped for Maid Service. It's a bit of a mess.
Location: Good restaurants. Historic buildings.
Booked a room with one king bed and requested an ocean view. Got to the hotel and was given a room with two beds and a city view. Called the front desk. They said all the rooms they had left had two beds. But that I could get a water view on a lower floor. Not what I wanted, but I said yes. The desk said they'd come right up with new keys. Waited in the room for an hour and fifteen minutes and finally decided to go down to the front desk. Got the keys for the new room - which was still not as requested (2 beds vs 1 King). Air conditioning in Panama is a requirement. This room had the air conditioning ductwork aimed directly at the beds. It couldn't be redirected. The choice was to endure a strong draft or sweat. Very uncomfortable. On the second day of the stay, we didn't receive replacement hand towels from the maid service. No big deal. We figured we might get them the next day. Yet in the third day, Maid Service simply didn't come. At 5 PM, we called to have the room cleaned. We were told someone would be sent immediately. At 6:15 PM, we had to go to the front desk and ask again. It's pretty evident that no one really cares about maintains quality in this hotel.

Couldn't sleep

The guest in the adjoining room had the maximum volume on the TV @ 1:00 am. Bad thing about it was violence movie with guns and sirens. XxCalled front desk. Took over an hour to resolve the issue. Lost lots of sleep.
