Stayed here for the fifth time and standards are very high, clean and staff very helpful and friendly. Shops are plentiful covering food and loads of coffee shops and restaurants. Grand Boulevard metro is 2 mins away so easy access to all major attractions. Thankyou for a wonderful stay as usual.

After booking we were advised renovations works were underway so were moved to a partner hotel. At the last minute we were put back in this hotel because 'they were ahead of schedule'. Really enjoyed my stay at Hotel d’Espagne! The buffet breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice, and having 24/7 luggage storage was super convenient. The rooms are small but functional, could be a bit cleaner overall, though not the worst. The staff were very friendly and the service was exceptional throughout which makes up for the shortcomings. The location is fantastic, very central, with countless dining options just steps away. If you're looking for an upscale hotel this might not be it but it does offer excellent value for this location.

We had a great stay for 5 nights in a twin room. Staff service, location and surrounds were amazing. Good food options (Land & Monkeys have great food and coffee!) close by and metro, which we only used once, was handy. It was a little noisy in the lane sometimes with wheelie bins early in the morning but that didn’t detract from our stay. Shower was a bit small/awkward however water pressure was excellent!

Front desk staff were so helpful and polite. Room basic - expected for the rate we paid - but clean and housekeeping came even though we vacated our room late (well deserved sleep in!) The hotel is in a quiet spot but in a great area with lively bars and good restaurants nearby.
