We stayed at this hotel for a week. We arrived late and were received ok at the hotel. Check in was good and we stayed on the 6th floor. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that.
We had two rooms, 628 & 629. The room sizes were acceptable. Rooms were a little outdated and need a make over. The bed wasn’t comfortable and pillows weren’t either. Room 629’s bathroom was extremely narrow and found sitting on the loo a problem and I bumped my head a few times trying to sit properly in the loo.. The hot water wasn’t free flowing as well pressure wise.
We didn’t have a kettle in our room and as we needed hot water for baby’s milk, we had to keep going downstairs to reception when we needed hot water for babies milk or a cup of tea.
On the fifth day, returned from a day out to notice my room hadn’t been cleaned at all.That wasn’t cool at all and notified the receptionist.
Apart from these things, we didn’t have any problems with our stay. The Repulique area was good for food, transport and shops. Honestly, if you’re looking for somewhere to just sleep and are not fussed about the mentioned things, then this is an ok place but if you’re more concerned about the luxuries that come with top hotels, you might not like it.
