Bijou charm
This small but perfectly formed room was close to all the major sights, and located in the charming Marais area of Paris. The room was clean and comfortable, albeit a little small. Would have loved to have a fridge available. When we stayed there was building work that disturbed us on the only day we wanted a lie in. Generally though we were up and out and about before they started.

Great small hotel
This is a lovely small hotel in walking distance from bars restaurants museums and most importantly almost equidistant from metro stations at St.Paul and Hotel de Ville. Staff are always friendly and though small, the rooms are comfortable and clean. The cost is also very reasonable. I have stayed here on 3 occasions now and will use it again provided prices don't skyrocket

The only thing this place has going for it is the location, which is why I chose it! But I'd never stay here ever again. You can literally hear everything. And unfortunately, that means that you get to hear the elevator every time it opens. You also get to hear the annoying neighbors who come home at 1:30am and proceed to argue for close to an hour, clearly not using their inside voices! Also, I had to leave early in the morning when the front door was closed. And the guy working the desk at that time was beyond rude. I didn't realize the door was locked, until I tried to open it. Instead of using his words, as any one over 2 years of age should do, he basically shoved me out of the way, rolled his eyes and mumbled that I was stupid under his breath. Clearly, great customer service.

For Paris, this hotel was fair. A little too old-world for my taste - meaning you needed to turn the lights on when you got out of the elevator and needed to fumble around a bit for the switch, and the room was TINY. No room in the bathroom to set down toiletries. Staff was nice enough, and location was great as well if looking to stay in Marais. Nice cafe right across the street.
