In my opinion this is NOT a 3-star hotel. My room was so small that I had to bring my luggage to the lobby in order to pack for my departure. The shower was 2 feet by 2 feet. The elevator was occupied by the maids' cleaning cart on most occasions, so I took the stairs. There was only one electrical outlet in the room. After the first day, and a few complaints a staff member offered me an extension cord, which helped. The maids were extremely loud in the hallways as they cleaned each morning--not realizing that perhaps guests were sleeping. I strongly suggest that travelocity revise this hotel's rating.

Very small Hotel, some might say cozy, but the room was surprisingly spacious and the bathroom was really great. Breakfast can be much better, very limited choice of foods. Not worth paying the extra money for. It’s better to head out early and grab some breakfast elsewhere. The area is obviously very very good, across of the Louvre. Very vibrant area, lots of dining options available.

Rooms are very small and hallways extremely narrow. Good overall but just be aware of those points. Also, it would be good to alert customers ahead of time of the Paris city tax before your stay, it’s a nominal fee but should be communicated before hand.

Disappointing stay

I paid good money for my three night stay in this hotel. Except the location which is great, nothing about this hotel is outstanding. It is a budget hotel that offers u the minimum possible, and for three days I felt as if we are in a survival mode. Very disappointing and will not recommend this hotel to anybody, not even to my enemies. Hated every minute of my stay.

The hotel is very well situated in the 1st Arrondismont, close to the Louvre. The hotel is dated; the elevator didn't work the full 5 nights we stayed, this was a problem as my traveling companion is handicapped and they put us on the 4th floor. They finally found us accommodations on the 1st floor, but that still required a hard to navigate, narrow, circular staircase. The cafe on the corner was excellent, great food! Cafe Sainte Honore is the best!

This hotel is not a franchise but local. Clean and friendly. Located around several main attractions which gave us freedom to roam around the center and entertain. Several cafe close and stores.

AirPods were stolen from a zipped up backpack in my room. I didn’t notice until I left Paris, but used the Apple “Find My” app which showed them at an apartment block on Rue Mouloud Aounit. Front desk said staff denied seeing them… be careful if staying there.

This hotel is in a prime location if you are wanting to walk to the Louvre. It is a much longer walk to the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe but we did it as there is so much to take in if you walk. Lots of shops and restaurants close by as well. The hotel itself is not much to be desired. Rooms and beds are tiny which is expected in Europe. However not very well maintained. It is old and dingy. Staff were not helpful or friendly when we asked any questions. Cleaning staff would basically just walk away from us when we tried to ask anything even as simple as how to get to the lobby. When I asked guy at lobby where I can get water he told me in the tap. 😕 not very welcoming to say the least and I realize I wasn’t booking a 5 star hotel but a little courtesy and even a smile would go a long ways.

As an old hotel, all was very good. I recommend against trying their breakfast, which was bad. A restaurant around the corner offered lots of good choices. The short, balding Frenchman at the front desk was extremely helpful, solving a problem for me about the Louvre, courteous, always helpful. The room was very quiet, had a fridge, kettle, corkscrew. The avenue nearby had many choices for restaurants, groceries, etc. The Louvre, Eglise Saint Eustache and many other fine places in easy walking distance.
