Please keep this in mind when reading my review: this was my fifth trip to Paris. I have never experienced anything like this. From cleanliness to service, this stay was incredibly disappointing. The host did provide detailed check-in instructions, which made arrival simple. However, the moment we entered the flat, the problems began. The kitchen and bathroom were crawling with roaches—both dead and alive. Later that night, when we went to get ready for bed, we found roaches in all four beds and throughout the bedrooms. This made it clear that the sheets had not been changed and the flat had not been properly cleaned before our stay.I contacted the host immediately. She offered to send a cleaning service the next morning to change the sheets and address the situation, but no one ever arrived. All we received was a brief apology. I provided multiple photos, and only on the day we were checking out did she offer to send an exterminator—she wasn’t even aware that we were leaving.Save your money and your peace of mind. Avoid this apartment.
