Great house for travelling with a large group, plenty of bedrooms for everyone and comfortable beds. Needs a bit more crockery and cutlery for everyone though.

Neither smoke alarm worked, notified on the first day, was in the pantry because the other one was broken. After 7 days of not fixing we left the property. She left a note about a recent fire in the house, didn't tell us prior to arriving. The old desil heater (decomissioned) still has vents that let cold air in throughout the house. It was so cold that my toddler wet himself through his nappy to his cot and his hands and feet were blue in the morning. Toilets didn't flush great on the first day and by the 4th day they stopped flushing. Wasn't in a hurry to get a plumber out. There is no dishwasher and we had to wash anything we used before we used it. Skirting boards were comming away from the walls with nails accessible to my toddler. Not fenced off (front or back) so if you have kids dont let them outside because its a really busy road. There was a missing window in the cottage that they knew about so dont plan on staying in there. The floors were extremely dirty. All the interior doors have key locks on them and my toddler locked one of the doors, host was very slow to respond and didn't know where the keys were, I had to get someone out myself to get back into that room. I asked for a refund for the remaining days i didn't stay there and she threatened me with compensation for the issues she admitted were caused by the previous drunk people. If you want to camp in the hills of Perth maybe this is for you.
