We booked a deluxe sea view and it was great, spacious and right next to the pool. We had issues with the internet dropping out which required an engineer to reset. Could not fill the kettle in the sink due to odd shaped tap, had to use the bath tap. The toilet rocked and the shower head was black. I did make a review comment on arrival giving our room number and the following day the house keeping manager came to our room and had these issues fixed.
The second page of the welcome pack has a full page of amenities and damages charges listing practically everything in your room.
Be aware there is a strict check in time of 1400, and check out 12 midday, signs clearly stating a full additional days charge will be applied if late. Its not a very welcoming experience. Its all a bit OTT.
Great panoramic view from the breakfast area, but don't leave food unattended if you eat outside, the birds will eat it. Plenty of variety of food to eat. A lovely lady on the egg counter making to order, but no poached egg which is my holiday go to.
Some day the lady at the breakfast reception asked if we wanted our room serviced, seemed odd as I expect my room serviced every day on holiday.
Things to be aware of, the hotel is set on a hill side and its a long trek to the top if walking. There are transfer buggies, but you may have to wait. Some of the rooms will have no view at all from the balcony, just a brick wall.
All in all we enjoyed our stay, but they could do better.
