Howling sounds down the hall and worse in the rooms. It wasn't windy outside, seems to be from inside draft. Recorded the noise because it kept us up all night, staff didn’t seem to care. Its so creepy, kids would've had nightmares. Id stay somewhere else!

The staff are amazing. Everyone greeted us and were very helpful. My wife left her purse in the room and after we checked out the front desk host called to let us know. We were able to get it and get on with our plans. Top notch service!

The heat in our room wasn’t working. They sent someone up in a timely manner to work on it. It seemed to be better but a few hours later wasn’t working again. They were great about switching our room and making it right. Rusty was especially great! I would stay here again.

Upon arrival at the hotel. We were advised that there was a $35.00 per night event charge and a $10.00 per night for parking. We paid upfront for the room charge, was not advised that there would be the additional charges. Parking fee's were waived, however the event charges remained in effect. I voiced opinion about the charge but was denied the refund. The "event charge" was absurd because there were no events at the hotel that weekend. I don't think that the lazy river should have been included in the price originally stated online. I will not book another night at your units. I am not impressed with your policies.

I’ve stayed at this hotel before, just a few months ago in fact. This time I was only here for one night with my family. All night long a light flashed from what I assume is the smoke detector. One of the reasons I loved this hotel previously was because our room had a massive window but the black out curtains were truly black out and I had a wonderful sleep. This stay, the curtain was still effective but now I had what felt like a strobe light in my room. To be fair, it wasn’t actually as dramatic as a strobe light but it did keep me up until 5am. I tried covering my face but would move the covering half asleep and would wake up. Again, in fairness, I didn’t give Margaritaville the chance to fix the problem that night. We got in late from a busy day out and my family fell asleep quickly. I didn’t actually notice it until all of the lights were out and everyone was sleeping. This was the only reason I didn’t call the front desk and have it fixed or ask to be moved. The staff was nice though there aren’t many of them around this time of year. I did have to wait about ten minutes when we arrived for someone to come check us in. She did have a sign on the desk which was fine. I didn’t like that I couldn’t just order a coffee at the restaurant in the morning and was directed by the hostess to the camp store. The camp store coffee is horrible which I learned last time. The coupon they give for a specialty coffee is useless as they don’t have any.

Had a great stay with our kids. The high ceilings and windows are beautiful and the smores around the fire are a unique and great touch. Also love the year round heated pool. Will definitely be back.
