They went out of their way to personally greet him for me in my absence and we always willing to help and answer any questions. Their hospitality was superb! Would highly recommend. " – Pirate Paradise on the River!We just checked out of Captain’s Quarters at Pirate’s Cove, and what an awesome trip! The hist was very kind and very responsive. It was me and my two sons (17 and 20), and we had an absolute blast. The location is perfect—right on the canal with kayaks ready to go. We hit the water every day and even had manatees come right up to the dock! Total bucket-list moment.The house itself is super fun and decked out in pirate and ship-themed decor—it really adds to the experience. The back patio was our go-to chill zone after a day of paddling (bug spray highly recommended in the evenings!).Pro tip for future guests: when you head out of the canal on your kayak, hang a left once you hit the river. That takes you upstream, where the water is crystal clear and there are lots of great spots to pull off and swim. If you go right, it's deeper and the water gets a bit murkier—more like the canal.Only thing we missed was having a second TV. There’s just one in the living room, so at night my sons would’ve loved being able to relax in their rooms with something to watch. But honestly, we were so worn out from the day's adventures, it didn’t ruin a thing.Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a fun, laid-back getaway on the water. We’d totally stay here again!"
