4/10 Poor

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy
Unfortunately, this was one of the worst vacation-rental experiences we’ve had. The biggest concern was the number of security cameras around the property. The host acknowledged watching us on the cameras, which made us feel extremely uncomfortable and like we had very little privacy during our stay. Communication with the host was also difficult and rude. We were blamed for the air conditioning breaking, even though this was not our fault. When we tried to get basic questions answered—including questions about the trash—we did not receive a response. Instead, the communication became argumentative, included name-calling, and I was repeatedly accused of simply trying to get a refund when I was attempting to address legitimate problems with the property. The condition of the rental was also disappointing. There were dirty blinds, washing machine & dryer, shower, dishes, inadequate kitchen utensils, and a noticeable mildew/water-damage odor. Between the condition of the property, the AC failure, the uncomfortable camera situation, and the interactions with the host, the experience significantly affected our vacation. We were uncomfortable enough that we packed up and left one night early rather than finishing ou stay. I have used vacation rentals expecting reasonable cleanliness, privacy, working amenities, and professional communication when something goes wrong.Unfortunately, that was not our experience here, and I would not stay here again.I do not recommend this property
