Flamingo Beach, just down the hill from Flamingo Blu, is a white sandy beach. Tropical hillside forests surround the property at Flamingo Blu, and a relaxing ocean breeze flows through the home. Within a short drive, you can explore lots of other beaches that are just as beautiful!

This house is breathtaking. The view and are are spectacular. Every detail, every light fixture, every door - everything - is incredible! The daily staff that helped clean and tidy and worked outside were a huge added bonus!

Wow wow wow! This property is off the charts beautiful!! bedrooms are all privately situated and air-conditioned! Beautiful TV room plenty of kitchen space grill pool fridge. We spent most of our vacation in the infinity pool and the seating area near the pool. The sunset over the pool is one that I will never forget. Beach access off the property with private staircase and beach chairs available. Great waves warm water. Several restaurants in walking distance. Would highly recommend this place for a family getaway service and staff 10 stars!! we saw monkeys, lizards, parrots from the house. Would recommend getting a golf cart to get into town and for groceries.

Vacation of a Lifetime!

Our stay at this incredible VRBO in Costa Rica was truly the vacation of a lifetime! Renzo was absolutely amazing—his communication was top-notch, and every recommendation he provided, from restaurants to private chefs, exceeded our expectations. The food was beyond fantastic, and we felt so spoiled! The staff at the house, from the cleaners to the maintenance team, were incredibly kind, attentive, and always made us feel at home. Their care and attention to detail truly made our stay special. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to return to this little slice of paradise! Highly recommended!

Heaven on Earth

This property, the staff, chef Luis, and Renzo exceeded our every expectation. We were 9 friends and family, all experiencing Costa Rica and Playa Flamingo for the first time. Flamingo Blu was the perfect first chapter to our adventure. Equal parts luxury and comfort, the perfect sandy beach, staff that spoiled us and the sound of the waves from every corner. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING PROPERTY

Location: This house sits about 150’ over the beach and could not be placed any better on the lot. The sunset views that you get every night are absolutely incredible! The steps to the beach are at the end of the cove where the sand meets the rocky shore, perfectly placed. There were only a handful of people on the beach at any given time, basically it was like having your own private beach. The property is quite large and very private, very hard to see the neighboring houses from any patio or bedroom. Native trees and plants cover the property, very authentic Costa Rican House is a unique architectural masterpiece and has everything you need, honestly spent most of our free time downstairs at the covered porch and in the pool. Had dinners on the second floor patio every night. Beds comfortable. Sound system was great! There are 2 cleaning ladies and 2 security / maintenance guys there most everyday. They are hard working and we didn’t even notice them. We would leave daily and come back to clean clothes, new towels, made beds, clean dishes, etc. They keep great care of the property and are so helpful in making sure you relax and enjoy your vacation. The property manager is AMAZING. I cannot say enough great things about him. The communication that he had with me was next level, sets the bar for customer service! He was so helpful in making sure that everything was perfect for our trip; from helping us with activities, planning, repairs, etc. BOOK THIS PLACE!!

Amazing Family Time Together

The house, pool and grounds are beautiful! The reason we booked this place was easy access (stairs) down to the beach and those who did not wish to challenge the stairs could still see the others playing down on the beach and in the surf. The pool is perfect for this setting. In addition, the concierge provided perfect service and helped us book a chef and massages right there at the house - We could have stayed right there and not ventured out as everything we needed was right there - Thank you!

Beautiful Hillside Beach Spot

This is a special place. The gated property is quite large, and the house is perched on a hillside overlooking the ocean. If you have a large group, you can really spread out here and enjoy all the house and grounds have to offer. We'll likely return in the future. Pros - 2 housekeepers clean the house and launder all your dirty clothes/towels daily from 9AM to 2PM - 2 groundskeepers perform daily maintenance to the grounds, pool, and exterior living spaces - 1 armed security guard monitors the grounds each night between 6PM and 6AM... although the area does not feel unsafe - The bedrooms are spacious, and each has an adjoining bathroom with shower... beds are comfortable - The ACs in the bedrooms work great, and all rooms have fans to keep the air moving - A golf cart is available to rent for the week which makes daily trips to Playa Flamingo easy and enjoyable - The outdoor living spaces and infinity pool offer truly stunning views that you'll likely never forget - The beach is beautiful, private, and accessible via steps at the rear of the property... the water is clean and clear Cons - Road access is not great, but it's consistent with the area and acceptable - Only the bedrooms and TV room are air-conditioned... meaning all the doors and windows in the common areas have to be opened each day to allow air to circulate - Climbing the many stairs up and down to the beach is not feasible for someone with mobility challenges... that may include anyone overweight or elderly

Exceeded Expectations!

This home is absolutely incredible. It's perched just above the shoreline with spectacular views both day and night. We made use of the outdoor dining room and several shaded, ocean facing terraces on a daily basis. The house will effortlessly accommodate nine adults. Diego, our concierge, went above and beyond to ensure our stay included many thrilling, but safe, adventures. We highly recommend the surfing lessons at Playa Grande that he personally arranged. The house and grounds staff were friendly and accommodating. The interior and exterior were managed daily. We created fantastic memories here at Flamingo Blu. I expect it will be something not soon forgotten. Thank you!

Gorgeous stay!

This house is one of the best we’ve stayed and worth every penny. The bedrooms have A/C split units which is great. The infinity pool has such a phenomenal view and the steps down to the beach are quick and easy. Biggest downside: it would have been nice to have some beach equipment available like chairs or umbrella but the boogie board was great

Incredible Stay in Paradise

What can I say...Flamingo Blu has it ALL! Immaculate home, furnishings, and decor. Gorgeous infinity pool and steps away from pristine beach. Housekeepers and groundskeepers were extremely polite and professional. This stay was really better than we could have ever imagined. I would highly recommend and cannot wait to return myself!

Exceeds ALL Expectations!

It is difficult to describe this property in a way that does it justice! It is simply incredible. This house truly is one of a kind architecturally and its spaces are both intentional and relaxing. Flamingo Blu is an absolute must visit. The home could not have been a better fit overall. The layout provided more than enough space for our two families to gather, but also have solitude. We were two families with three kids age 7-9. The kids loved the pool, the bocce ball court, the trampoline, the beach, the KIDS bunk room! For adults, there is not a bedroom that disappoints. The location is close to great restuarants, family activities, adventures and more. The beach was great for walking and for snorkeling and relaxing. The staff was wonderful, welcoming and truly made the experience special!! Stay in Tamarindo was helpful, quick in responding to questions, and made the entire visit incredibly easy. Diego was helpful both prior and during our visit. We look forward to visiting again!!

Flamingo blu is special

The house, the beach, the people make this one beautiful place to unwind and relax. We were so happy to hang and enjoy the view, take in beach walks and the area restaurants. The property is so well managed and you can get help to do anything you want. While the steps to the beach total 133 it was not a problem ( would be for older generation though). A short drive would work for those not wanting to do the steps I can’t say enough good things about this house- it’s stunning! We were a multiple generational family from infant to 60 and everyone loved it.

Perfect location

Architectural delight. This home was perfect for our family. We needed at least 4 bedrooms with in-suite bathroom. What was a pleasant surprise was how well designed this house was not only for privacy but for airflow through the house. With the breeze from the ocean plus ceiling fans, you do not need air-conditioning. The outside covered spaces all have ceiling fans. So nice to enjoy the beautiful weather.

Flamingo Blu New Years Week

My family of 11 just returned from a week at Flamingo Blu. We had a wonderful time, and have nothing but wonderful memories from the week! We loved the area, the calmness of the house, the housekeepers and groundkeepers were wonderful. Diego the concierge went out of his way to make sure we had anything we needed. We would absolutely return to this house and area. Stay in Tamarindo did a fantastic job.

Amazing place!!

This place is amazing!! We had 2 families, total of 8 and loved the house, pool, beach and staff! If you can go to Flamingo Blu we highly recommend it. A few minor upgrades on appliances would benefit, but don't worry, there are many stoves and refrigerators in case one is on the fritz! I would not recommend for smaller children or one who has difficulties with stairs. Anyone else, please stay here at least once! It truly is an amazing and beautiful house, location, sunsets and beach!

Playa Flamingo Paradise!

The place is a perfect combination of a beach home. Insane views and almost perfect isolation. If you are headed to the Tamarindo area and this home is available - YOU MUST STAY HERE. The layout of the house is amazingly conducive to families.
