Located in the heart of the Hunter on its own 40-acre vineyard, Among the Vines is a well-equipped 4-bedroom home offering guests a beautiful base to enjoy all the area has to offer. The property is within a 10-minute drive from many of the area’s most popular wineries, cellar doors, restaurants, golf courses and concert venues. It’s perfect for families, groups of friends, or anyone who dreams of sleeping among the vines.

We stayed at the aptly named Among the Vines for a family catch-up as we had booked a pasta making place nearby5 adults in all , 2 couples- the house size and layout was perfect. We made the most of outdoor seating and enjoyed sunsets and a beautiful sunrise with hot air balloons floating over the nearby paddocks - that was an added bonus!

What a wonderful stay! The house had everything we needed and was on a beautiful vineyard. The kids enjoyed watching the kangaroos hop through the wines. We would recommend this place to anyone and would come back again for sure.

Fabulous

Booking and check in was easy and Matthew was always available if we needed. House was clean and had everything listed. Location is perfect if you’re looking for a calm getaway from the city, with kangaroos lying in the backyard and plenty of outdoor sitting and space for the family. We will definitely go back and stay !

We loved the serenity!

Lovely, well-equipped, sparklingly clean house in the middle of the vines. So quiet day and night with only bird calls enhancing the serenity. We had a roast one night and there are baking dishes, pans, glasses, crockery, cutlery etc. to serve a small army let alone the four of us girls in the Hunter for a quick getaway from the Big Smoke. Joyous seeing kangaroos all day happily feeding or resting. Wonderful time had by all and we’ll be back with two more friends who couldn’t make it this time. Thanks, Matthew.

Absolutely stunning property in a fabulous location. Very homely and so very quiet. Matt our host always in touch with us which made us feel very welcome. WINE group amongst the vines

A group of ladies who named themselves the WINE group decided to go to the Hunter. Amongst the Vines was the perfect House for a large group. Plenty of cutlery and crockery, seating etc for everyone. Great location and would certainly stay there again.

Girls Weekend

A greta place for a relaxing girls getaway. Villa is very central to Pokolbin vineyards. Has everything you need at the villa. Very well appointed. Beds are comfortable. Fire made a cold weekend the perfect place for wine, cheese and laughs. Matthew's communication was great. Thoroughly recommend for a group getaway.

We had an amazing girls weekend away at 'Among the vines'. The house and property were beautiful with plenty of room. Matt was wonderful, easy to communicate with and very accommodating. We'll definitely be coming to stay again in the future!

Great cosy and beautiful comfy home

I would totally recommend this property to family and friends. The place was in a perfect location, private and surrounded by your own secluded vineyards. It had all the amenities you need. The beds were all comfortable and the fire place was amazing and heated up the house. The pics don't do this place justice. Will definitely be back!

Great Central Spot

We stayed as a group of 8 people (4 couples). Ample room for everyone. It came with everything you could need, including a washing machine and iron, all the kitchen necessities, beds were nice and comfy, central aircon worked well. There was a cute fireplace. Great place to stay

We had a great stay. The house was nice, clean and a decent size for 8 people. It’s in a great location in the middle of the Hunter Valley and surrounded by vines so you’re right in the middle of wine country. Matt was great at communicating before our stay and we had everything we needed for a long weekend.

Lovely private spot

We had a lovely stay at Matthew’s place, great location to base a trip around wineries, it was very private and the kitchen had all the amenities we could need. All the different types of tea were a lovely touch!

Absolutely fabulous!

We loved this property! It was clean, cosy, spacious and had plenty of provisions. We didn't want for anything! It was in a very convenient location in the centre of Pokolbin, with no neighbours, only vines. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and would return in a heartbeat. Thank you so much!
