This lovely home is one of the few cottages that has views of the St. Joseph Bay from the upstairs screened in porch. This gated community provides laid back living and great amenities including three pools, clubhouse, fitness center, and BBQ areas. The ultimate place to escape from life's hustle and bustle and enjoy some well-deserved relaxation.

Parking: Two parking spots are guaranteed. No RVs, trailers or boats are allowed inside the community gates.

Pet Friendly: This home is pet-friendly, and allows up to 2 dogs. If you choose to bring a pet, a charge of $140 will be added to your reservation after you book.

Linens/Supplies: All bed and bath linens are supplied as well as all cookware/dinnerware/glassware in the kitchen. A few essential items are provided upon arrival: Dawn dishwashing soap, one sponge, two dishwasher pods, one garbage bag, one roll of paper towels, one roll of toilet tissue per bathroom, two individual/small bars of soap per bathroom, one laundry powder and one fabric softener.

Some of our properties typically have beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc.) on site. However, there is no guarantee as these items tend to come and go throughout the year.

Age Requirement: Minimum age limit to rent this home is 25 years old.

Credit card fee: All payments processed are subject to a 3.25% credit card processing fee.

Rental Agreement: A signed Rental Agreement is required upon booking.

Monthly Rental: SNOWBIRDS WELCOME! Monthly rental rates are available during the winter season. Please send a message to the property manager if you are interested.

CANCELLATION POLICY: We strongly encourage our guests to purchase the optional travel insurance to protect your vacation investment. All reservations include an administrative fee of $35 (plus taxes) upon booking which is non-refundable in the event of a reservation cancellation. Credit cards processing fees will be charged upon cancellation which is equal to 3.25% of all payments made.

Reservations canceled at least 60 days before check-in date will receive a 100% refund, minus cancellation fees. Reservations canceled between 30 to 60 days before check-in date will receive a 50% refund, minus cancellation fees. Reservations canceled less than 30 days before check-in date will result in forfeiture of the full advance rental payments and any other payments.

Area Information: When you are ready to venture out, the quaint town of Port St. Joe is located less than 5 minutes away. Enjoy shopping, galleries, entertainment and restaurants. Discover local history by visiting the Corinne Costin Gibson Memorial Library, Cape San Blas Lighthouse, Constitution Convention Museum State Park, and St. Joseph Cemetery. Still needing more? 30 miles away is the historical fishing community of Apalachicola. It's perfect for a day trip to do a little shopping, stroll along the Apalachicola River or grab some of the best seafood around!

If outdoor adventure is calling your name, look no further. Just across the street from the Barefoot Cottage community lies the Highland View beach, five miles to the west is St Joe Beach, and twenty miles to the south east, Cape San Blas, Indian Pass, and TH Stone Memorial St. Joseph State Park. All off the best wade fishing, crabbing, shelling, snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaking, and bonfires you can handle. Or just relax, sink your toes in the white sugar sand and soak up the sun. All Gulf County beaches are pet-friendly with safety rules and guidelines to follow.
