Gulf View Duplex on Cape San Blas


Sunny Dayz is a completely remodeled, 2 bedroom gulf view duplex centrally located on Cape San Blas near Scallop Cove store/deli and San Flea rental store. The home was designed to be fun and colorful downstairs and peaceful and relaxing upstairs. There is a Queen Sleeper Sofa and and a Twin Pullout Sleeper Chair in the living area. A new covered outdoor space was added summer 2023 with patio furniture and sun catchers to add more living space and coastal vibe even during a rain shower. For more added living space, the picnic table is now downstairs so families may enjoy grilling and eating downstairs in the shade. (There are plastic dishes, cups and pitcher in the kitchen for outside entertaining). The entire home has vinyl plank flooring with carpeted stairs. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, white cabinets, granite counter tops and lovely glass tile and lighting.


The two upstairs bedrooms have private en-suites. The oceanside, "sunset" queen bedroom and bath has a beautiful accent glass tile shower and both rooms have decorative white washed wood walls. The bayside, king bedroom with tile bath tub has an incredible view of sunrises over Saint Joe Bay.


The new private decks are perfect for relaxing and watching a gorgeous sunset over the gulf or stargazing from the upper deck. Sounds from the ocean will calm your soul and rejuvenate your mind and spirit. We are less than 120 steps from the community boardwalk which carries you over the protected dunes to amazing, white, sandy beaches and pristine waters.


Enjoy watching the waves in the ocean, fishing in the surf, boating in the bay and observing gulls and pelicans flying overhead. Bike on the newly created bike trails to Saint Joseph State Park and Florida's #1 Beach. This is a truly relaxing place to unwind and explore. The beauty of Cape San Blas will make you want to come back again and again.

Sunny Dayz was beautiful property. We stayed 3 nights so those looking for a longer stay may plan better than us. The property itself is beautiful! It is well furnished and decorated. It is an ocean view on onside and bay view(barely) on the other. Our trip in Nov needed additional blankets at times and their was not any in the bedrooms. Their was one downstairs in the living room area.When i checked out i spoke with the office about my stay. They asked if i had issues i told them yes. They were things like no trash cans in the upstairs bathrooms and towels in 1/2 bath. They labeled those as "inconveniences". I dont think those are inconveniences those are things that every bathroom should have in them. Cape San Blas is beautiful. This property is beautiful and the access to the beach is amazing. There a few places to eat nearby. I would recommend Coneheads! dont let the name fool you. Last recommendation if you go after sept please check on redtide. Our kayaking and water plans were pushed back plus the air quality was poor.

This is my 2nd time staying here. I love the location - easy to walk to the store and other areas. I love the view. The kitchen is well equipped. The only thing I would maybe say is that there were areas that needed a deeper cleaning. I wiped up stuff off a wall and cleaned the shelves. But it was clean in general. We will definitely try to stay here again!

We have never stayed in a bad location while at the Cape but this was definitely one of the cleanest. It was also such a short walk to the beach even though you weren’t the front row, you still have a view from the balcony. We had everything we needed while we were there. Check in was super easy because the rental office is right across the street. It is also conveniently across from Scallops Cove which we love. We would definitely stay again

Good location on beautiful Cape San Blas

We stayed for 4 nights and 3 days, coming to Port St. Joe to fish with our long time charter boat captain. The rental was just as described, and a friend and myself enjoyed us each having our own room and bathroom. We typically eat in for most meals, and the kitchen was adequately equipped for this. Strangely, they did not have potholders/hot pads, and the coffee maker was the old basket type with all the words worn off the buttons, and no filters provided. We called Coastal Joe Rentals and they had someone run over filters immediately-nice!! These were small annoyances, however, so overall it was a 5-star visit. The rental places on the Cape have really increased in price since Hurricane Michael and the pandemic, and since we did not stay a whole week the fees really decrease the value to price ratio.

Relaxing week

We loved our time at Sunny Dayz! The home was clean and right next to the beach. You can look at the water from the top balcony. My only suggestion for the owners is to include a few more dish towels and towels, it was okay for my husband and I but a family would need to do laundry every day. We were SO happy with the location and the beaches on the cape. I 100% plan to stay here again.

Great time

My wife and I spent a week at Sunny Dayz in early July. We had stayed in the same neighborhood before, but never at this unit. Everything was 100% true to the listing. The unit has been remodeled and everything was well done. My wife loved the style of the unit. Living room was comfortable and relaxing. Everything in the kitchen worked well. Washer and dryer worked well also. Lower deck was nice to relax on and the upper deck had a nice ocean view. Upstairs, both bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice (especially the master bath). Both beds were also very comfortable. Short 2/3 minute was to the beach is great. Very convenient to everything on the Cape as well. In addition, the rental company (Costal Joe Vacation Rentals) were great to deal with. Check-in and check-out were super easy and their office was maybe 1 minute down the road. The first night we were there, we had a monster storm that knocked out the modem (it fried the power brick). After trouble shooting, I had to call Costal Joe. They were easy to deal with. They contacted the owner who scheduled a service call. A tech from the internet provider came out and had the internet service restored less than 24 hours after I called. Loved this place and we will definitely be back.

Beautiful

We didn't have the best weather and it was our first stay in Cape San Blas. However, we loved it here. House was perfect proximity to the Gulf which was an absolute must for us. We will definitely be back!!!

Great Vacation at the Cape

We had a wonderful time at Sunny Dayz! Great location a short walk to the beach and lovely views of the ocean and the bay from the balconies. The place has recently been renovated, so everything was nicely done, well stocked, and very comfortable. We hope we'll be able to come back here often!
