Our penthouse apartment looks out at a view of the Haller fountain from one bedroom, the other looks across to the historic Terry Building and Silverwater Cafe. Both bedrooms offer queen size beds and handsome antique furnishings. The bathroom is commodious and features a shower and soaking tub (bubbles provided).

The kitchen is glorious at first sight, and you will find it convenient for preparing the simplest to the most complex meal. Fully appointed, including Fiestaware for six and crystal wine glasses. The living and dining areas provide comfortable modern furniture, fabulous Port Townsend art, an entertainment center and cozy wood fireplace.

Enjoy a large deck nestled against the verdant hillside, outdoor furniture and Weber BBQ in total privacy. You won’t believe you are downtown Port Townsend.

High speed wireless Internet is available throughout the suite and, if you find that you must accomplish some work during your stay, step into the quiet, detached office, complete with computer and library.

We had a lovely stay at the Suite by the Fountain. Our host, Dave, could not have been more accommodating. He was flexible with our booking and responded promptly to every question or request. The suite itself is extremely comfortable and well-appointed. The layout and space of the unit was perfect for the two of us and could easily hold 4 renters. Beds were comfortable although the pillows were a little soft to my liking. (Maybe provide an option of a couple of firmer pillows.) The location is absolutely ideal. Short walk to all that downtown and uptown have to offer. We enjoyed tasty dinners at The Fountain Cafe (right next door), and Betta Bar and Grill, listened to live music at The Bishop Hotel, and tasted wine and cocktails at Vintage and The In-Between. Also managed to catch a movie at the historic Rose Theater - all recommended!

As long as there are no on-street parking issues, the space is fairly accessible, but I would be hesitant if I had balance or fitness issues. It's accessed from an open air walkway (and a flight of stairs with 20 treads) to the vrbo entrance from the street.

Absolutely perfect location for a weekend in PT, walkable to everything and nestled into the hillside. Very minimal amenities across the board, would recommend bringing full toiletry kit & kitchen essentials. Dave was super responsive and helpful, even gave us a partial refund when the TV crapped out on us. We will definitely be returning and recommending this place to others!

This rental is very nice. It is very clean, comfortable, quiet and beautifully decorated. The kitchen has everything you would need. There is a beautiful stained-glass window in the main bedroom and a fireplace in the living room. There are thoughtful touches everywhere. We enjoyed out stay very much.

This place is adorable inside, loved how close it is to town and places to eat. We really enjoyed our time there. The only complaint was the bed. The main room should have a King bed or at least a Queen where you don't roll to the other end. We slept the first night together, but did not get a good night sleep so, we slept the other two nights separately so we could sleep. Once you have a King bed it is really hard to go back to a queen bed, I admit. The place is beautiful and is very well kept! My husband and I would definitely stay here again.

This treehouse suite is so lovely. Such a private space in the center of town with restaurants, the theatre, and the water within a block, yet looking out the full wall of windows off the living room, you would swear you were in the woods. The suite has a mid century vibe to it with an open floor plan, fireplace for those chilly evenings and lovely private deck to sit on. We had deer every day off of our deck. I love the privacy yet proximity to everything. Our favorite place in Port Townsend.

Lovely property

My family of four had such a nice time here. It's a nice size, and the location is perfect. We walked all over town from there with little kids because it's close to everything. We loved the big windows overlooking the deck, where we could see a fuzzy little baby deer who visited every evening! Property owners were very easy to communicate with and even offered flexibility with check in/out times. I'd happily stay there again.

I come to PT quite often to visit my elderly parents. This is by far my favorite place to stay when I'm traveling with my teenager. Plenty of space, fabulous location, comfy, cozy, and very well appointed (they even have a salad spinner!)Highly recommend!

Excellent Location in Downtown Port Townsend

We enjoyed our stay very much as it was extremely convenient to walk to all of the shops downtown. Was fun to be able to look out the windows and see the activity on the street below. Bedrooms are a nice size with comfortable beds and apartment was very clean and well organized. Our hosts were communicative and provided easy to follow check in instructions with some flexibility on the check in/out times. The kitchen is well stocked and has fun colors of Fiestaware for meals. Note that if it's raining, the wood deck can be very slippery and though the description states hot tub, there was not a hot tub there. They do have a bathtub in a spacious bathroom. All in all would recommend for a lovely getaway! You are right in the heart of downtown and uptown is a quick walk up the fountain stairs, which the apartment overlooks.

Our Thanksgiving holiday was better than we hoped for. The location was perfect, for spontaneous trips walking around town. We love being so close to the waterfront.
