Nice flat in the heart of Porto, but bring your earplugs.
Very lovely, clean flat with outdoor space in new building in the heart of the older section of Porto. A little bare bones, but perfectly fine for our purposes. Could use better quality bath towels and more of them and provide at least a sponge and dishtowel in the kitchen. There were a couple of issues that the owner had no control over, but the management company could have handled better. We had rented this flat because I am disabled and it was advertised as having parking available. The day before we arrived we were informed by the management company that the garage would not be available due to maintenance, and suggested that we park in a garage roughly 1.5 km away. Tried to call and left several messages to see how they would provide a resolution, but didn't hear back from the management company until the next day, mere hours before leaving for our trip, and said I could cancel and book someplace else - a ridiculous and insulting suggestion at that point. I would suggest the owner of the flat find a new management company.
Oh - and one last thing - there is a rooster next door that starts crowing before the crack of dawn.
I guess I would say the flat is fine, but donât expect much from the management company should something happen where you need them to step in.
