This apartment is strictly for the amazing view. The place itself was ok at best, a bit dirty, non functioning WiFi, and loose tiles and electricity that wasnât strong enough to make toast without blowing a fuse (despite unplugging everything else in the apartment in this attempt but still blowing the fuse) But truly one of the best views of Porto on your own balcony makes this place good
Points faibles : Communication, exactitude de lâannonce
Because I do not know Porto, this was not a good property WITHOUT a car. It would have been nice to be told that. We had to use Bolt/Uber to get to anywhere ie: Porto Marina, downtown Porto, Continente Gaia and back. 7 days of that was costly. The stores, shops, etc were not 3 minutes by car. The ONE BIG DECEPTION are the photos of a big white couch with 3 pillows in the livingroom; there was actually a grey 2-seat 'loveseat" that made into a short bed for a child that was as hard as a rock, no sheet nor blanket nor pillow. We pre-advised we were not a couple. There were no instructions for ANYTHING like the Hob (stovetop), doors, windows or fuse box. The toaster blew the fuses. There was no salt, no pepper, no cooking oil, no coffee, no tea, no sugar. All 11 of my other rentals this trip had all of that. No kitchen towels, one roll of paper towels for a week. The diningroom chairs could not have been anymore cheap, no padding. The manager was worthless on answering emails. It had a beautiful view of the Douro River, We were not there to sit all day, we wanted to get out. You could not walk anywhere it was so steep; we had 2 young marathon runners next door and they had trouble. The shower was great. I took more than 1,000 photos on this one month trip, none of this apartment interior, I was so depressed about it. ALL IN ALL A DISAPPOINTING PROPERTY except for the view and shower.
