The hotel is excellent value for the price. It is very well located, close to a great many attractions and to the Metro. The staff were friendly and helpful with 24 hour reception service. The room was clean and comfortable. Our room was on the third floor and the lift access is from the 2nd floor to the 3rd rather than from the ground floor. We used the stairs after our arrival as it was simpler and we're mobile enough for it not to be a big issue.

The hotel building is old, the room was small, the bed was sinking. Its a good place to stay to shower, sleep and not to spend time in the room. Beddings were changed daily, they try to make it nice, But whoever owns it, they should upgrade the beds. If they upgrade the place, they can charge more because it is in the heart of shops, restaurants, mall and in-front of Santa Catalina Church the famous building covered with tiles. Thanks to staff, they were nice.

The location is great. Walkable. Safe. But the hotel is old so the bathrooms are kind of old fashioned and minimal. Shops and eating places very nearby. Staff is great.

Great staff, very friendly, sincere & helpful. The metro was a three minute walk from the hotel. Plenty of shopping nearby. The street performers were exceptional! The Balhao market was tremendous. The culinary options were very varied. The crafts on offer, were magnificent too.
