"Wonderful lodge for our family! Property staff were friendly and accommodating. Other guests were also kind and inviting. Environment was very family-friendly. Love the location, far enough out for forestry/nature vibes but not too far it took forever to travel to town. Nearby to many attractions too! Would definitely book again if taking a future trip! "

"This was our first time in the Black Hills and staying at Ken’s was by far one of the coolest places we have stayed. Not only does Ken make you feel at home, he shares his beautiful property for us to explore. Stratobowl is historically fascinating and stunningly beautiful. We enjoyed being close to Rapid City, Mount Rushmore, all the hikes and scenic drives around Custer States and coming back to the house to enjoy the decks overlooking the rim. We only used the upstairs beds and they are very comfortable! "

"This property was amazing! Quiet, but close to all of the sites in the area. The home was excellent with plenty of room to talk, play games, or whatever you want to do. Multiple decks are available for outside fun and eating. Kitchen was well stocked. This was the perfect place for a multi family gathering and exploring the Black Hills or Badlands areas."

"Great experience! Did have to check in personally with host to sign waivers, which was unexpected, but helpful to get info about the property and area. Was such a great property to stay at with the swimming hole and trails. Location to all of the things to explore in the area was also good. "
