I would give this hotel and my stay two stars. I have to consider everything and considering that this hotel was a three star hotel it did not seem like it was. It seemed more like a two star hotel. When I first arrived for my three night stay for a conference the room type that I had booked were all given away. So I was given a handicapped room with a queen bed, but I had originally booked a studio suite with a king size bed, and a sofa bed. So starting off, I didn’t get what I was expecting to get and the thing is I would have never stayed at this hotel if all of the rooms that I booked said they were sold out on the website. Anyways, enough about my check-in experience. Upon arriving to the room, the room smelled like pee. I’m sure it was the carpets that made the room smell like that. Fixtures on the walls were coming off in the room overall was very outdated. This was surprising because according to the pictures that are advertise it looks like the hotel is newly renovated, but that is not the case. The walls were dirty and had stains on them. The bathroom smells like marijuana. The only positive experience about my stay was the bed was comfortable. The staff at the front desk were friendly. I did request a personal refund for instead due to not getting the room that I booked and they agreed on giving me 10% off. However, I would not stay here again because it’s too outdated and not as clean as I want, when staying in a hotel.
