This hotel is consistently clean, in great repair, and has friendliest, most professional staff I have experienced. I base this review on several stays at the Holiday Inn Express Apex, not just this last stay. Will always stay here when in the Raleigh area!

An exceptionally pleasant stay all around at a very affordable price. I was especially pleased with the woods and creek view from our room and how quiet it was. Great breakfast! Super comfortable bed with a variety of pillows. I was tempted to snitch the soft pillow. I wish I could buy one just like it. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit family!

Always a wonderful stay. Other than this time being told at the front desk that breakfast lasts until 10. Showing up at 9:20 to get breakfast and rudely being told it’s closed. I was not the only one there were a handful of people who had been told the same thing. Even if it were closing at 9:30 it was still only 9:20, but we were told 10 am at the front desk. The person in chat of breakfast shut off the Orange juice machine e as my 11 year old son was goi g to get some. This was 9:25. We were told rudely once again that breakfast was closed. This was all the day after Christmas by the way. Definitely the worst I have ever been treated by any of your hotels.

It started with the check in. Cherry upgraded us "just because she could", and I felt like a family member. We weren't actually there very long, but every person we encountered had that southern hospitality. We were also very impressed with the breakfast - a step up from most other places.
