This was our 4th stay here. The 3rd stay was not good, but we thought we would give it another try. They got a complete fail! We rented a King room with a spa tub. It ended up being an ADA room. The fridge did not work. We reported it - maintenance never came. The shower faucet bar was scotch taped together & to the wall. The shower head was attached to the wall with a suction device, but the water shot horizontally, straight across the shower. The ADA shower was a roll in shower, & the shower curtain didn't even reach the rubber strip that was supposed to keep the water in the shower. Water went all over the bathroom. Shower curtain was mildewed. BUT the spa was ridiculous. It was so slippery one could not even sit in it. We slipped & went under water. Getting out? Impossible! ADA bars all over the bathroom & not a single one anywhere around the tub, so no way to pull yourself out, or safely get onto the TILE floor without slipping and falling! Not again! Better hotels in town!

We have stayed at this property several times over the years when we visit Rapid City and it is always great for our family with several kids but unfortunately we will not be back. It was very dirty:(

Our first interaction at this property set the mood for the stay. The lady at check in was extremely rude. The reservation was under my husband's name and she refused to work with me and instead insisted that he be the one coming in to handle the check in procedure (I usually check in while he gets the luggage and handles the kids). She then argued with him and worked as slowly as possible all while grumbling under her breath. The fact that she was still scowling when we went to check out the following morning just put a negative start and end to our stay at an otherwise decent, if overpriced, hotel.
