Torch Lake Cabin near launch with boat option

Wonderful cabin in the woods walking distance to Torch River access and boat launch. Torch River connects to the Torch Lake Sandbar, Lake Skegemog and Elk Lake. Bring the boat (rental available), jet ski's and/or kayaks and relax with family/friends. This ranch includes 4 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms, a spacious living area and kitchen equipped with essentials.

Ranch located steps away from the Torch River DNR Launch, private yard with space for vehicles and boat trailers. Rental boat also available for additional fee, please see additional rules for details and message for availability.

Spacious living room connected with dining room and kitchen for open floor concept and entertaining. Kitchen stocked with essentials needed for a comfortable stay and large TV. Full size sofa bed.

Home is located steps away from DNR boat launch where you can access Torch River by boat, jet ski and/or kayak and take a 15 min "NO WAKE" ride to the Torch Lake Sandbar or Lake Skegemog and Elk Lake. Bring a boat or ask us about a rental to launch less than 500 feet from the house!

Rapid City is surrounded by beautiful and eventful towns including Alden (less than 5 miles) which offers wine tasting, swimming areas, local grocery store as well as unique shops and restaurants. Bellaire is nearby and offers Shorts Brewery and a variety of restaurants. 25 minutes to Traverse City, there you can enjoy beaches, restaurants, casinos, wine tours/vineyards, breweries and shopping. Within 15 minutes you'll have mountain biking trails, cherry orchards, golf courses, and access to Lake Michigan beaches and playground in nearby Elk Rapids. Boyne Mountain, Crystal Mountain, Nubs Nob and Schuss are perfect for skiing/snowboarding and not a far distance. ORV trail heads are a short distance away and lead to miles of off-roading.

Convenient location. Nice property with the amenities to keep us comfortable and well-cared for. The grill was filthy but the stove worked so dinners turned out just fine. The boat option captured our attention but then it wasn’t available. It was a nice cottage and we had a lot of fun.

Great place to stay!

The property worked out so well for our group! It was the perfect location since it was so close to the boat launch. We had easy ample parking for our truck and boat. It was nice that each bedroom had a queen bed rather than bunks. We would stay again for sure!

Vacation to remember

House was great exactly what we needed for our huge group. Location was beautiful nights by the fire where relaxing and quite even with people near. Host was amazing very quick responses and always there to answer any questions I may have needed. Would definitely recommend!

Nice location, secluded home near everything

Great location near DNR boat launch. In the woods with a rustic feel. AC doesn't work great but they have fans in all the bedrooms which helped. Also being in the woods it is manageable. Great experience!

Beautiful property
