Welcome to our newly built, clean, comfortable, and private home, located in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. We recently added a fully furnished kitchen (new for 2026), featuring brand-new, energy-efficient appliances to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Our home is conveniently located just a 5-minute drive from Camden, Maine, where you can enjoy shopping, local restaurants, waterfront parks, and charming downtown streets. It's also close to Camden Hills State Park, the ocean, and grocery stores.

Rockland is only a 10-minute drive away and is home to the famous Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse, beautiful waterfront views, museums, and additional shopping and dining options.

If you enjoy the outdoors, you'll find numerous nearby hiking and walking trails, including Beech Hill Preserve, George's Highland Path, Rockland Harbor Trail, and many more. Lincolnville Beach, the Islesboro Ferry, and several excellent restaurants are just a 15-minute drive away.

You'll be staying in our private mother-in-law suite located on the lower level of the house. The suite includes a private entrance, a comfortable living room, one bedroom, a full bathroom with a shower, and a washer and dryer for your convenience. The newly added kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for preparing meals during your stay.

Whether you're visiting to relax, explore the Midcoast Maine area, or enjoy the outdoors, you'll have a comfortable and private space where you'll truly feel at home.

A sweet quiet retreat

Rusty and Rowena have created a beautiful hideaway so near Camden and Rockport! It is located 1 mile from the Rockport diner ( yummy)! The apartment was furnished nicely and anything we needed was there. Highly recommend staying here!

Rowena and Rusty are lovely hosts with a wonderful little private apartment on the bottom floor of their home. They are present in their main living quarters up a flight of stairs from the living room, but the unit is very private w no crossover. The amenities match their add and are easily accessible, and everything was clean and comfortable. They also leave a sweet little hand written note upon your arrival. Highly recommend!

This unit is a quite location in the countryside, not too far from various popular coastal locations, i.e. Camden & Rockport. Its a good sized unit with comfortable and adequate facilities, very quiet. Would suggest adding a lighted address number at the street for those arriving late.
