Located in the center of the city, in one of the most ancient Roman palaces, this apartment, recently renovated, it is the perfect location for a couple who want to enjoy life in the heart of Rome. Due to its location, you can reach many points of interest on foot or in any case in a few minutes, taking advantage of the large presence of public transport and taxis in the area. The apartment is recommended for a maximum of 2 persons, as mentioned above, saw the presence of a single bedroom. Location very good. Clean unit. Bed comfortable. Spacious.Answered questions promptly when booking unit. Quiet neighborhood with grocery & restaurants near by. Concerns: Coffee maker &dishwasher didn’t work. Black mold in Washing machine door. 5 times elevator wouldn’t work because other tenants didn’t close door properly. Door slams shut, then bounces open, not shutting completely so others can’t call elevator.

beautiful apartment , great location

We so enjoyed the Grotta Pinta apartment for 5 days in September. The flat is as beautiful as the pictures and even more charming in person. The pictures fail to show the wooden ceilings, as the flat is on the top floor. ( fortunately with an elevator). the view out the elevator really is the top of the cathedral. Sun streams in through the floor to ceiling windows. The apartment is quite spacious for 2, and could be used for 4 ( with a sofa bed for a couple or children. There more than ample storage to completely unpack your luggage and have it out of site, even for 4 people. The full kitchen makes snacks and meals easy, and the bathroom is tastefully done with a nice shower and amenities ( once again the pictures fail to show the nice skylight in the bathroom). The washer worked great, clothes were then hung to try. ( instructions on using the dryer in English would be very helpful) Of course the main selling point is the location, with in walking distance by 15-30 minutes to all of the sites and attractions. The area was full of locals , and lots of shops and restaurants within a 5 minute radius. Finally, the management company running the property is right around the corner, and very helpful with any questions or problems. They were very helpful printing some documents for us on short notice. just a few suggestions, new pillows would be nice ( as the ones there were very flat,) and some extension cord twist multiple outlets too have more than 1 kitchen appliances to be running at 1 time.

Great Location

Pictures are accurate. Perfect for 2 people. Apartment was very clean. Hot water didn't last for 2 back to back showers, so we changed showering schedules. Not a big problem for us. Elevator was a plus, since this place is on the top floor. Quiet area at night. Construction next door during the day, but it was not disturbing to us. All appliances were working. The bed was firm as others have mentioned, but not unacceptable. We would stay here again.

Perfect Location

Grotta Pinta 12 is a beautiful, clean apartment in the perfect location. One can easily get to Campo di Fiore (just steps away), Piazza Navona, Vatican City, Trastevere, the Colosseum, the Pantheon, etc. My husband and I like to walk and were able to walk to all of those places, and many more, from Grotta Pinta. Management was courteous and responsive. There is an elevator in the building - quite a plus. The air conditioning worked exceptionally well. Wonderful shopping, restaurants and cafes just outside the front door. This place is almost perfect. Our sole criticism is that the bed is extremely uncomfortable. Though I prefer a firm mattress to a soft one, this bed was as hard as a rock and I was unable to sleep well the first night. When I voiced my complaint the next day, management quickly responded by giving us a comforter and extra pillows. We were able to use the comforter as a mattress pad of sorts, and that helped. I would unequivocally recommend this apartment and give it the 5 star review it deserves, but only if the mattress issue were first resolved.

Excellent location and clean, comfortable apartment.

The apartment is very close to Campo di Fiori and convenient to bus and tram stops, making it easy to travel around the city. The apartment was very clean and equipped with a stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, washing machine, iron and ironing board. The kitchen was adequately equipped for some simple meal preparation, although operating the induction stove was a challenge for me, since I had never used one before. The bathroom was large with a nice shower. The living room was small, but large enough for one or two people, and had a comfortable sofa for relaxing in the evening. The only complaint I have is that the bed was not very comfortable. It was firm, and I normally like a firm mattress, but this mattress just did not give a comfortable night's sleep. Overall, I really liked the apartment.
