We only stayed for one night but I hated to leave! The property was located directly across the street from a beautiful and uncrowded ocean beach. There were several great restaurants within a mile. The property also has its own restaurant and bar with a simple menu. The room was spacious and spotless. The view of the river from the huge picture window in our room was breathtaking. We were able to watch the sun set over the river from our room or from chairs by the pool or from the restaurant. Our room did not face the ocean, but there was an open area just down the hall where we could view the sun rise over the beach and ocean. Tips on reserving a room: Our room was a "Premium River View" room located in the newer building. I have seen reviews online suggesting that standard rooms in the "older" building may not be as well maintained as those in the newer 4 story building where we stayed. Ocean view rooms with balcony are pricier than river view, but not necessarily worth the additional cost due to road noise when the balcony door is open.

Room was clean, bar restaurant was excellent. This is not a boutique hotel. Bathroom had mold, tv didn't work. Exterior needs refreshing. Price even for September was exorbitant.

1- No where on the website did it say that the bar is seasonal. 2-I purchased a deck room looking over the river. When I got there, they said I was “upgraded” for free bc my room isn’t available. I got a balcony room on 2nd floor. That’s not an upgrade. 3-Both remotes had low battery. You couldn’t use the remount to get to Netflix or anything other then live tv. 4- can’t beat the location. You have river on one side, ocean on the other. Best restaurants on every corner.

Mediocre hotel. I felt like homeless people probably stay there in the winter. It was kind of creepy. I stayed in the old part of the hotel overlooking the pool which appeared good on the outside. Everything was old, out dated and original on the inside. Big disappointment. I must say the view of the river was amazing.

This property is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, immaculate, safe. Beds are like sleeping on a cloud yet supportive. Front desk check in with Mackenzie was easy. and she's a sweetheart. The view of the ocean is mesmerizing, even with a cloudy very overcast day. Restaurants and shops near by with a car. Beautiful stay.

Although I booked through expedia and requested a ground level pool view when I arrived i was put in room 19 that had steps to get to the room, i cannot do steps due to handicap. Macenzie at front desk was sweet and acted very quickly to accommodate us and we were placed in the new building on 2nd floor that access to an elevator. I was so grateful for their kindness and understanding they were so flexible and kind. love this place very convenient and we also got to swim in the pool which was great

Beach Walk is the only hotel in Sea Bright proper and engages in price gouging opportunistically. I booked a room through Expedia for $440 plus taxes which I assumed had a river or beach view. Instead we were booked into a motel room that rents for $149 during the week, and $335 for most seasonal weekends which had a view through a dirty window of a fence and a view at the front of parked cars. The sleek modern multistory hotel at the front has three wings of original motel rooms behind which have been superficially and cheaply renovated. There’s a tiny TV on the wall, and a narrow door into the bathroom which had a patched sagging ceiling. (see photo) Maintenance throughout is cursory and the stairs across the street connecting to the beach are rotting. On Saturday afternoons a deafening Jersey band plays until after 8PM. There are some good things – the staff is uniformly pleasant, the restaurant on the water is a great place to have a beer, and the shower is fantastic, but be careful of the temperature which goes up to scalding.

Paying for location. Room was small with no place to have a snack or set up laptop. Microwave did not work at all, refrigerator did not go on, and smoke detector was missing in an old old wooden building. Interior and exterior showed its age everywhere. Furniture beat up. Pictures better than reality. Bed clean and comfortable. No food or other services available during week. Walls thin and listened to loud neighbors talking until 1:00 AM. Site, pool, and condos looked nice. On river across from beach.

Absolutely gorgeous and stylish! The small rooms aren’t an issue whatsoever, it feels like it encourages guests to use the incredible common spaces extending over the west shoreline. Directly across the street is a gorgeous private beach for hotel guests with clean sand, driftwood for sitting, and scattered with pearlescent shells. Sunrise here was magical. Definitely need to come back in summer to get the full experience. *also there was no tub in our room, but a large walk-in shower*

Visually.. This is a beautiful area to stay with the beach across the street and the river to the West. However, my room was an older renovation and the room above was not soundproof, the guests above stomped around to early morning hours. I could not get the TV to work and there were no instruction to operate.
