the hotel hadnt looked like it had been remodelled since the 80's. the button to turn on the a/c was missing so we had to press a whole bunch until it worked. there were stains on the bed sheets and the mattresses were hard as rock and the bathroom had an odd smell and the carpets were gross and there were food stains on the a/c unit that had not been cleaned off and power points near the lamp next to the bed did not work. Ive stayed in better hostels in south east asia.

People refused to clean the room, during the stay not once was the room cleaned. I asked them to change the linens and the say they couldn’t until three days. Terrible service. Jenny was a horrible person with attitude.

Pros and cons

Pros: awesome location for a family, right next to a water park and an aquarium on the other side of the highway. I also liked the breakfast--it was the usual free breakfast style buffet but well done and the lady kept replenishing all the time. Cons: not the cleanest; also had the toilet clog and overflow. They did come to fix the problem fast, but we didn't get cleaning or anything after. The hot tub was also kinda nasty looking with some part broken and fallen out of its socket in the water.

Although this property is older, it was very clean. My stay was quiet and I slept well in the comfortable king bed. The staff was friendly and helpful. The fitness room was small and a little warm, but provided a fan. The pool area was clean and well kept. The complimentary breakfast was very good.

Will definitely stay here again!

We booked another night and they allowed us to stay in the room we had. No lugging our suitcases in and out. We also asked for clean towels and the maid fixed our beds. Great service!
