We experienced being part of a lock down in the Puerto Vallarta area. The hotel and all restaurants closed down however fortunately they let us stay another night as road was closed. Unfortunately we were a victim of extreme price gouging. Being charged twice the room price without notice for the Sunday night stay stay. Will not be back.

This hotel, for the most part, is lovely. We believe however that it could use some more upkeep. Many things went wrong in our room (AC, smoke detector beeping all night long, toilet issues) as well as the rest of the hotel (bathrooms on rooftop out of order the entire week) among other small annoyances. But the deluxe room with patio is lovely, as is the cafe and staff attached. The Location is wonderful.
