Gorgeous exterior grounds of the property! Love love love the fluffy cat - new best friend! The staff was beyond great! I felt like a rain forest B&B surrounded by a city. The room was very dark, limited electricity plugs and very boring but the bathroom was done very nice. Add some decor and lighting in the room and all will be perfect!

Convenient location to airport and beautiful grounds. Make sure to try out the restaurant, the food is quite good. Make sure to email for shuttle pick up. Will definitely be back!

Convenient

Pros: The reception cat.
Cons: Mattresses; the springs could be felt.
Location: Near to rental car center (Alamo, etc.), close to airport.
Nice place. Good shuttle service. Good bar & restaurant with excellent food. Nice rooms.

Airport hotel

La Rivera is a gem near the SJO airport. It is affordable, a true bargain compared to the airport hotels we have used in the past. It will now be my go-to overnight stay in San Jose. It is quiet, tastefully decorated. The restaurant is top notch. No regrets here.
