Could be better with some effort.

Well we had a room downstairs during the week and it was pretty quiet and cozy. The A/C worked well, the bed was soft and the room was nice. The room could have been cleaner and the lighting a little better. The bed had a canopy top so the light was blocked for the most part. The hotel is near the main street so walking distance to restaurants and shops was great. Would have been better with a pool. Small vending machine also was a plus. Thanks

Old time Hotel right by the quaint Santa Paula downtown. So walkable to stores, restaurants, museums, and more. It's old but they obviously work to maintain the charm.

This hotel felt instantly familiar. Staff was kind and helpful, the common areas were safe and well maintained. The room was spacious and comfortable. Several amazing restaurants within walking distance in a safe, well maintained city.

Check in was slow, the restaurant has been closed for a while but on the web it is still showing open, very disappointing. The Room carpet had stains by the windows and there was no shower gel or hand soap in the bathroom

History

We stayed overnight while in the area for a concert on Ojai. The property is charming and classic. Our room was small and a bit odd given the age of the hotel but having lived in east coast buildings built in the 1800s, it was just part of the time the property was built. We did not have any supernatural experiences during our stay. The bed was not terribly comfortable but for one night it was tolerable. The Glen Tavern Inn is worth checking out and the price for the area it good.

My getaway

This hotel is one of my favorites in Vta. County. Its located in Sta. Paula , you have easy access to many popular paces near by. Only 10 to 20 min to tje breach or any kind of shopping your heart desires. The staff is very accommodating and dropped everything to show me other unoccupied rooms. The receptionist was very nice and pleasant. The bed was very comfortable. I recommend your next stay at Glenn Tabern hotel..

This was a gorgeous hotel with very friendly staff and lovely rooms. It was an old hotel so as expected it had some old hotel charm and didn't have some of the modern amenities of a new hotel but we weren't looking for that. It was utterly charming. The restaurant was amazing. Food was wonderful in the piano player and was friendly and took many of our requests and played flawlessly. It was fun to hear the ghost stories from the staff and to tour the whole property.
