Disappointed in front desk service. Did not get king/balcony room I paid for when checking in. Later questioned manager and was begrudgingly given the type of room I reserved. Sent email prior to visit about exploring the hotel as a future wedding venue but no tour or Q&A was offered at time of visit. It should have been a fun stay but just disappointing in the lack of helpfulness. Better to find out now than later with a wedding party booking.

No insulation in rooms you can hear a pin drop. Out lights were flickering all night and room was freezing. Would not warm up even with heat on. Service was not great

Cute property, very clean, huge gated patio outside our dog friendly room. Nice touch with the snacks in room and the option to order additoinal food from a link/QR code. We didn't try the link so not sure what the options were. The grounds were very well taken care of...nice pool area too. Only constructive feedback is related to the price. With dog, we ended up with a ~$1000 bill for two nights. That of course included room rate, tax and the ~$50 per night extra for pup. Kind of steep for a motel.

A beautiful escape

We (and our two dogs) had the BEST time at the Capri. It was the perfect relaxing escape from a very scary week in LA. We highly recommend it and will be back! The beds were super comfortable, the pool and hot tub divine, the grassy area beloved by our dogs, and we loved the easy walk into town!

We had a lovely time staying at the Capris with our dog. The rooms were comfortable, clean and cute and the hotel is walking distance from all of the fun restaurants and stores in Ojai. Would stay again!

We absolutely loved the Capri Hotel! It has beautiful decor/ design, a comfortable bed, fire pit and jacuzzi with a view of the mountains, friendly staff, and more—it was just a perfect couples getaway.

Absolutely loved staying here. The place is gorgeous and perfectly walkable to places around town. They also offer bikes to bike into town, which is sweet. The staff were all very kind. Will definitely be back!

The bedrooms are basic but have everything you need. The lobby/lounge is warm and welcoming and the swimming pool is excellent. Heated and open early in the mornings. Plenty of parking (formerly a motel by the layout) and bikes that can be used to cycle into the main area - which is actually walkable but it is nice to have the cycle option.
