Shower not fully stocked with toiletries, there was an ac leak on our balcony, check in service ok, poor check-in process: Inn should inform guest on front desk hours and where to enter building after 10p since the main doors (both entrances) close and are not accessible with key. Most obscure back entrance for getting into building at night. Breakfast was ok. Would try other Inns on this block for similar price, proximity to ocean and better experience.

Nothing special but clean and fine for an overnigh

Room was comfortable. Not spacious but enough room for a single night stay. Shower area upgraded and nice. Appreciated keurig and refrigerator in room. Nothing really special at this hotel. All staff very friendly.

Good value a few blocks from the beach. Breakfast was ample ( served 7 to 10 am) and removed very promptly at ten. Specialty coffee machine and lots of hot and cold options. Nice sunny breakfast area with lots of tables. Staff friendly except for fellow at check in who was a bit curt. Rooms have balconies and a functioning safe and small fridge. Nicely decorated with a bit of colour. Rooms get serviced every other day but towels and coffee are available on request. Small warm pool and hot tub, open from 10-10. Would recommend for the reasonable price point too.

Nice hotel

While the front desk “welcome” was impersonal, everything else was great. It was especially nice for me to have gluten-free options for breakfast and a staff so knowledgeable about those options. We would definitely stay here again. Nice location with a short walk to the harbor.

Very enjoyable stay for three nights at the Avania Inn. It was my first time in Santa Barbara and this hotel was pretty close to everything especially the waterfront. Daily complimentary breakfast was also quite good. I’d stay here again. Price point was pretty decent, too.

Unpretentious place with clean rooms and ultra attentive staff. The beds were extremely comfortable. Location within an easy walk to wharf/harbor. Didn’t utilize pool but it looked a bit small. AC was OK but not great. Breakfast also good but could use some variety for those staying longer than 2 days. Would definitely stay again.
