Check-in was a huge disappointment. Property doesn't have an elevator which is not mentioned in the hotel’s description. My husband has dissability so I asked for downstares room. First I was told that to change floor I need to contact Expedia. When I asked for a manager, I was told that no one was available. I insisted and asked several times to speak to the manager on the phone. Getlman at reception disappeared for quite some time and returned with the woman who said that they could give us a room that has dissability assistance. I told her that we needed a regular room but downstairs. She replied that we could have it for an additional $30 which I refused. Keep in mind that on the day we checked in, hotel had only few people staying and many rooms were available.
The woman still gave us a room with disability assistance. The toilet was a foot from the floor, shower was tiny, uncomfortable, and weired. Shower head was completely rusted. Sink to wash was not in the bathroom, but in the room which was not convenient if one wanted to use the bathroom at night. No TV, no fridge, no safe. Curtains on the windows were very light and almost see-through. The light from the street at night or day light in the morning made it hard to get some sleep.
Overall, the room was unclean and looked rundown.
