Bring slippers

It’s a relatively nice Inn, quiet, great location, nice pool but I was appalled by the cleanliness of the bare floors. The rooms are esthetically bare. Basic linens bare walls and bare floors allow the room to echo. I should have brought slippers, made the mistake walking around the room barefoot later switching to socks because the floors were filthy. Yes, the floors were visibly free of debris but I have a feeling these floors are never moped. Even my socks turned dirty after walking around. Besides the floors, the echoing rooms and very noisy old beds, everything else was suitable.

What an amazing stay. When I come back to Santa Barbara I will be staying here. A 5 min walk to coastline, a big hot tub, and free fresh cookies. The staff, such as Ben, remembered us and it made us feel so welcome and tended to. The bed was very comfortable and the property was in a quiet area but not far From State Street or the Funk Zone

Great location, renovated rooms

This is a nice renovated hotel with a great location a block from the beach. The hotel is quiet and comfortable. We booked a room with a balcony. There are a bunch of restaurants about 4 blocks away. I appreciate being able to park my car and walk to restaurants and the beach. The pier is also very close, a few blocks down. The rate included breakfast, but it was pretty weak, just coffee, juice and a few pastries. Overall, I would recommend and stay here again.
