"The decor of the property is luxurious and I enjoyed that. However, having the restaurant with a band on the floor above was loud and not welcoming. Also the property was not clean; streaks on mirror and refrigerator and outdoor table did not look as if it had been cleaned in weeks. The towels and sheets appeared to be fresh though. I would not recommend staying on the 4th floor because of the restaurant/tavern noise."

"The room was a nice size. The bedding had coices which we appreciate because sometimes the duvets can be too hot. We liked the menus for breakfast and lunch but the choices for dinner were not to our liking. Plus the prices for the entrees were very high. The pools were great and the service there was friendly and timely. Check in time is 4:00 so don't bother getting there too early or you'll just have to wait. Plenty of parking, which was free."

"This place is extremely convenient to everything in St. Simon's. My only issues are that there is no elevator (or even a dumbwaiter) to haul your luggage up and down. Also, the east-facing windows did not have shades (which sucked at 5:45 when the sun came up)."

"We had such a great stay at Hampton Inn St. Simons Island! The hotel was super clean, quiet, and very family friendly. My daughter absolutely loved the pool and looked forward to breakfast every morning, which honestly made the trip even easier for us. The location was PERFECT. It felt tucked away and peaceful surrounded by all the beautiful old trees, so it had that relaxing secluded feel, but you were still right in the middle of everything. CVS was right beside the hotel so we walked over to it about a million times during the trip. Red Fern Village being right behind the hotel was another huge plus. Everything was such an easy walking distance, and one evening we could hear the live band playing while my daughter swam in the pool. It wasn’t loud or annoying at all, just the perfect little background music that honestly made the whole vibe feel even more relaxing. The front desk staff were so kind and helpful the entire stay. You can tell they genuinely care about guests having a good experience. They also had delicious fresh cookies in the lobby and complimentary bottled waters, which was such a nice touch after being out in the heat all day. The only downside was that I booked through Expedia, so I wasn’t able to use my Hilton member perks this time, but that was totally my fault and definitely not a dealbreaker. We already plan to come back again within the next few months!"
