This is a good value hotel for being near the beach! The rooms are spacious and beds are comfy. Not the most modern but also doesn’t feel too out of date either. Breakfast is included, but nothing special - not a complaint but just keep expectations in check. Would recommend to anyone who wants to be near the beaches but wanting a more affordable option. I plan on staying there again for any weekend beach trips!

I recommend this hotel 100%. It's centrally located, with plenty of places to eat and easy access to the beaches. The hotel is spotless, smelling clean and fresh, and not musty like other hotels. Breakfast is served from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., very convenient for families.

The hallway to our room smelled musty and was hot. No ventilation in the bathroom. My throat became scratchy after one nights stay accompanied by a horrible headache. Immediately checked out first thing in the morning and told the front desk about the issues and my health concerns. The “manager” , Lisa, was not only condescending (stating no other guest has mentioned the smell, as if that were relevant) but flat out rude and was not forthcoming about her title. She was also hesitant when I asked her name. We were not warmly greeted checking in, one elevator, shower was partially held together by caulk and just an awful first and last time staying at a Comfort Inn. Employees should wear name tags and if they are truly management, professionalism should be on display at all times. I was also forced to pay for two nights stay because I didn’t give a 24 hour notice before leaving, however, we weren’t even at the hotel for 12 hours total. Definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Comfortable and clean

It was good on return trip to find the lights in the parking lot were finally fixed and that grits packets were part of the breakfast selections.
