The room was surprisingly underwhelming. For a supposed posh resort, the room was not as expected. The window in the room was unable to be opened as it had no screen and the sash appeared broken. The ac had to be turned on as a result and it roared the whole night. Not much sleep was attained. The staff were welcoming. But the stay was very disappointing. Will not stay there again.

The vibe is amazing-- so old school Saratoga luxury and refinement. We loved the bar, the "front porch" at night playing cards and listening to music, walking around the property. Beautiful getaway.

It’s really beautiful as you enter- high ceilings and cozy couches. The halls are wide and airy. The rooms were recently painted it seems, but ai did find someone’s contact on the corner of the bathroom sink. Also, the bathroom drain was very slow. You can see the age of the building with the old built in toothbrush holder and soap dish and those areas need attention- the caulking is starting to come up. The lack of bathroom fan means an open window- these have got to be pretty old- they are camped with layers of paint, but they do work! It’s a fun, atmospheric place to stay, but it’s by no means 5 stars

Everything above was wonderful except for a BIG thing!! When we looked out of our bedroom window, ( room 212) the view was a dirty roof top !! That was not a pleasant sight! considering the cost of the room for one night was over $400!!!!!!!!!! Please respond.
