Charming House off of Taylor Square with Courtyard by Lucky Savannah

Just off of beautiful Taylor Square, this two-bedroom, one-bath townhouse has everything you could want in a vacation home. Within walking distance to all Savannah has to offer, you’ll simply have to pick a direction to begin your day of exploration.

The first floor of this home has a spacious living area with plenty of comfortable seating and a large flat-screen TV, so you can spend some time catching up on your favorite shows. The dining table seats four and is right next to three floor-to-ceiling bay windows overlooking the private courtyard. The adjacent kitchen has been fully renovated and has a modern subway-style backsplash and stainless steel appliances. You’ll find additional seating and a grill outside, perfect for a gathering of family and friends.

Upstairs you’ll find both bedrooms, each with their own access to the balcony through matching French doors. The first bedroom has a king-sized bed while the second has two twin beds. The shared bathroom has a shower/tub combo and pedestal sink.

If you do bring a pet to this dog-friendly home, you'll be in a great location to walk over to Mother Matilda Beasley, the only dog park in the Historic District. A short walk to beautiful Jones Street will bring you to Clary’s Cafe, the setting for several breakfast scenes in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, and a favorite breakfast spot for locals and visitors alike.

Lovely home in perfect location

What a quaint, comfortable home in downtown Savannah! The outside space is a dream. It’s a perfect space for starting the day with coffee or ending it with drinks. The air conditioning could be better upstairs but I would definitely stay here again. Parking was so easy. We had a great stay.

Wonderful house!

I can’t express how much my husband and I enjoyed this house and our trip. It was absolutely perfect for us and our dog. The house is charming and well done. Everything you need, the courtyard is beautiful. The location is superb. We walked everywhere, from sightseeing to eating. Definitely will stay there again.

We have stayed in many VRBO properties and had a mixed experience with this rental. Things we really liked: the backyard patio was beautiful, the location was great, the kitchen was very functional, the service by Lucky Savannah was very good. Things we disliked: the lighting throughout the house was poor and dim, despite being mentioned by previous tenants (not bright enough to even read under). The living room lamps were totally not up to the task; the apartment was not particularly clean. Things we strongly disliked: the living room couch smelled so badly we avoided using it, the mattress in the main bedroom was so soft and yielding it felt like a waterbed - I had to sleep in the single bed. For the price, we expected better.

Anniversary Weekend

Highly recommend this cozy historic house! The beautiful and private courtyard was so enjoyable to sit in w/ a glass of wine after a day of exploring the beautiful neighborhoods and sights nearby. We walked everywhere…never moved our car from the convenient space right in front. The house had everything to make it feel like home. I highly recommend staying here and would definitely again when back in Savannah!

Beautiful Historic Home in Savannah

We absolutely loved staying in this beautiful home! It was perfect for our family of four and two dogs. We loved taking the dogs all around town (Savannah is so dog friendly!) and the ease of getting everywhere within a short walk. We would, hands down, stay here again if we travel back to Savannah. It was perfect!

Estrogen Fest 2023

Me and my 3 besties from college stayed at this amazing property to celebrate 30+ years of friendship. We had an amazing time. The courtyard was charming and we loved the historic aspect of this lovely little cottage. It reminded us of our dorms from college which made our stay even more special. AMAZING

This place loved up to the hype completely. It looked just like the pictures, was in the perfect location to walk everywhere with a 30 minute drive to the beach, and provided such a comfortable, homey, and lovely stay. Wish we could have taken the courtyard with us!! They even had an incredible book selection and some fun games for the rainier days. Next time come to Savannah, we know exactly where to stay! Perfect spot, in a perfect location

My mom and I decided to visit Savannah for a long weekend, and this place was absolutely perfect to stay. We were able to bring our dogs too! The garden in the back was perfect to sit in and read, and gray for the dogs to run around a little. Savannah is def dog friendly, which we loved! The location was great, a 10 minute walk to Forsyth Park! There is a trolley stop for both hop on and hop off tours less than 5 minutes from the location. It was so clean, and just the right size. Check in and check out we’re a breeze. I would absolutely stay here again when I go back to Savannah!
