The Sarah Elizabeth House on beautiful Jones St w/ Private Courtyard

Welcome to the Sarah E Krenson house built in 1873, a named house on Savannah's historical register, on beautiful sought after Jones St. Located in the downtown historic district, take a step back into a time seeped in Southern history along cobblestone streets with ancient live oak trees draped in Spanish moss.
The house abounds in original details of the period and has also been lovingly updated with modern amenities, the best of both worlds! The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need to create a large family feast. The adjacent dining room seats 8 and can easily be arranged to seat more. The first floor also has a formal living area, half bathroom and a sitting area in the kitchen, plenty of room to spread out. A lovely private courtyard is right off the kitchen area, with a fountain and seating for 10. The perfect spot for morning coffee before heading out for a stroll through all Savannah has to offer and a place to return to and relax for an evening glass of wine.
The second and third floors consist of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms each. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and 2 are en suites, a unique feature not often found in large historic homes.

This location has been captured in many wonderful movies such as Disney's "Lady and the Tramp", "Glory" and the iconic "In the Garden of Good and Evil".
With 3000 square feet of living space, Jones street on the top 10 list from USA Today's "Prettiest streets in America" , you can make a memorable experience with friends and family at the Sarah Elizabeth House on Jones.

The Sarah Elizabeth house on Jones, with a private entrance and a private courtyard, will supply plenty of comfortable exclusive space for everyone in your group. Savannah is a walking city, with lovely squares and parks for you to enjoy safe walks and the beautiful scenery. Take an evening stroll with your adult beverage and enjoy the views. This location allows you to easily walk to all the fun things to do in Savannah such as Plant Riverside, River Street, restaurants and shopping. Or if the beach is on your agenda, Tybee is just a 30 minute drive.

Parking is readily available in front of the house on Jones Street. It is metered, but free nights and weekends as well as holidays. There is a very small parking spot within the rear courtyard suitable for a compact vehicle.

Our family trip to Savannah was amazing! The Sarah Elizabeth house is magical- and the accommodations perfect with a 1:1 bedroom to bathroom ratio. The hosts were available and accommodating, though thankfully we had everything we needed and did not need to bother them during our stay. We would definitely stay here again with a group of 8-10 people. 10 out of 10!

Beautiful home. Great location. Clean, spacious, and even has a kitchen welcome basket! Super easy check in and out. Host replied quickly when I sent a message with some questions the week prior. Parking was available on the street but we chose the Liberty Deck which was a very short walk. Restaurants close by and delicious!

I cannot express enough of how perfect a location. This was we rented a car and didn’t even use it. We walked everywhere and it was so easy even with a two-year-old. I would definitely stay at this place again. We had so much room and felt very safe where we were. The backyard was a bonus. We loved being out there. Thank you for letting us stay at your home. Beautiful home, well-appointed, convenient location

The property was beautiful, historic, and perfect for our group of 6 friends, and would be wonderful for any group type, really. The location couldn't be better, on Jones Street right in the middle of anything you could want to see. Walkability could not be beat - Close to shops, restaurants, everything. We were so happy with our experiece. The thoughtfull touches (water bottles, snacks, notes) and communication of the homeowners was excellent. A truly great welcome to Savannah and highly recommended.

Perfect Spot to Stay While in Savannah!!

This property is in an ideal location in Savannah and was an absolutely perfect property for a couples weekend. Great indoor and outdoor spaces to spend time together and each bedroom has it's own full bathroom. Hosts were extremely responsive. Enjoy!

Perfect Girl's Weekend/ St Paddy's in Savannah

From the first minute, our stay was perfect! Tim met us at the house when we arrived, he had saved us the perfect parking spot. I had rented a 15 passenger van to get friends at the airport and day-trip with, and parking on St Paddy's day weekend can be tough. The house was pretty close to spotless and absolutely gorgeous! The kitchen is very well stocked, super comfy beds, nice quality sheets and pillows, and plenty of room for our dinners and game nights in. Communication with Tim and Beth was seamless and they were available to answer any questions! We would absolutely recommend this home and will stay here again if we do another girls trip to Savannah!!

Spacious home with excellent amenities

We were in Savannah for our son's wedding and our family stayed at the house. The house was spacious, clean and well-appointed. Everyone loved their rooms. There was plenty of space for the groomsmen to come and get ready at the house. And our daughter (who happens to be named Sarah Elizabeth) was able to make the wedding cake in the kitchen! The location cannot be beat. We walked everywhere.

2024 Birthday Celebration

Our group of 8 had plenty of space for visiting on the patio, deck, kitchen area, dining room and living room. Bedrooms were comfortable and gave privacy. Great location for walking to various restaurants as well as shopping and trolley riding! A great place for celebrating 8 birthdays for a long weekend!
