I had a great stay at the Thunderbird Inn in historic downtown Savannah. It offers a unique 1960s retro vibe that sets it apart from typical chain hotels while still being comfortable and welcoming. The location is excellent—within walking distance of major historic attractions, restaurants, and shops, making it easy to explore the city. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with fun retro décor and complimentary treats adding a nice touch. I highly recommend this affordable, character-filled hotel and would gladly stay again.

It's a very nice retro-themed hotel. Street noise can be a little much for some people I'm sure, but didn't bother me at all. Rooms have everything you'll need. Would go back again for sure.
