Rude Staff- Manager even worse. Unwelcoming. While checking in our card was charged 2x which they said they would take care of it. Manager Amore was yelling at front desk staff, as well as housekeeping staff, being very judgmental and disrespectful of them. Hotel smelled of mold/mildew/smoke. Chose this hotel for pool, however it was closed due to it rained earlier in the day and it was a green color indicating it had not been cleaned in a while. Cracks in the walls/ceiling. Stains on floor. Gross!

It was fine to stop and sleep during a long drive. The hotel needs refreshed. Rusty bathroom fixtures, peeling toilet seat, very worn carpet. No coffee maker in the room.

Have stayed at Wingate previously thus looked forward to this stay. Unfortunately it didn't add up to the past. Economics would explain most of it. Toilet paper and tissues were of the lowest quality. One of the provided bath products was empty. TV cable offerings were difficult to activate. Had to ask the desk then continue to hit the remote button until going through analog static to get to digital offerings. Large comfortable room had obviously had a sofa removed and a sitting chair replaced. Room was clean and satisfactory but bathroom showed rust and mold on exposed toilet water source hose and in bath.

This was a good place to stop on our way to south Florida. Easy on and off to I95. Plenty of restaurants near by. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet.

This property could definitely use some renovation. We had a terrible time with the card readers being able to read the cards to get into our room and back into the hotel. The pool was in need of a good cleaning. Our room and the elevator has a musty smell. Thankfully we were only staying one night as an overnight stop. Wouldn’t recommend staying here until some renovations are done.
