Property was clean and well stocked. Parking on street was easy and convenient but I can see if it was a big holiday weekend how parking could be a problem, but that applies to everywhere in Savannah. It is far enough away from the busy downtown, but still in walking distance. Hotel is beautiful and quaint. Loved the outdoor common area. Would definitely stay again!
Only thing, if you staying Friday be careful with the parking, from 3:00 am to 6:00 am there are areas where you canât park or they will fine you with a ticket
Unique property and check-in, but actually very comfortable with surprising amenities (Breville coffee maker, ironing board for wrinkle freaks like me, hair dryer, full array of soap, shampoo, lotion and conditioner etc.). Many historic buildings were within walking distance, as well as restaurants and a park across the street. I would definitely recommend downloading the Park Savannah App so you can pay from your room. The 'Meter Maids' are very prompt and efficient!
We really liked room 403 at The Present. First room we have had where the shower is in the bedroom. Plenty of space, though I kinda missed having a closet. The WiFi struggles so the tv was on frozen channel search most of the time. Super clean and very comfortable. The staff was accommodating on every request we had.
